Damyang County and Damyang Police Station conducted safety training on compliance matters during capture activities and prevention of firearm accidents for 29 members of the Captive Wild Animal Capture Task Force on the 8th at the police station's 4th-floor conference room. 원본보기 아이콘Damyang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that, together with the Damyang Police Station, it conducted a safety education session on compliance requirements during capture activities and the prevention of firearm accidents for 29 members of the Nuisance Wildlife Capture Task Force at the meeting room on the 4th floor of the Damyang Police Station on the 8th.
This year, the task force aims to prevent damage to crops and human casualties caused by nuisance wildlife, as well as to prevent the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF) and carry out wildlife rescue activities.
On this day, the county provided guidelines on safe conduct during hunting activities to prevent the spread of ASF and explained the procedures for handling capture operations, while the police explained firearm removal and usage guidelines and urged the utmost attention to safety management.
A county official stated, "We plan to conduct regular safety education for the nuisance wildlife capture task force to ensure safety," and added, "Through the operation of the task force, we will do our best to prevent damage caused by nuisance wildlife, carry out wildlife rescue activities, and prevent the spread of African Swine Fever."
