Gwangju FC, a professional football club, has signed midfielder Kwon Sungyoon (23), who previously played for FC Seoul and Busan IPark.


According to Gwangju FC on the 9th, Kwon Sungyoon made his professional debut in 2020 after being selected as a priority pick by FC Seoul. He later played for Daejeon Korail in 2023 and Busan IPark last year, recording a total of 47 professional appearances with 1 goal and 4 assists.


Kwon Sungyoon is highly regarded for his excellent ball possession and ability to escape pressure, as well as his skill in creating opportunities from the flanks. He is evaluated as a player who can continuously challenge opponents with his bursts of speed and individual dribbling skills.


Gwangju FC stated, "He is a versatile player who can play not only as a winger but also as a fullback and wingback, strengthening our depth on the flanks and fitting perfectly into Gwangju's tactics, which require players to cover various positions."
