The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market closed mixed on the 8th (local time).
On that day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.25% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500 index, centered on large-cap stocks, increased by 0.16%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index fell 0.06% to close the session.
