Minju "Third-Party Recommendation Method for Special Internal Security Investigation Act to be Reintroduced on the 9th"

The Democratic Party of Korea announced on the 8th that it will reintroduce the Special Investigation Act on the Internal Rebellion, which was rejected in the plenary session, on the following day, the 9th, by changing it to a 'third-party recommendation method.'

Cho Seung-rae, the chief spokesperson of the Democratic Party of Korea, told reporters after a closed-door meeting of the Supreme Council in the afternoon, "It was decided within the party to organize who will make the third-party recommendations and the recommending entities."

Cho added, "There was no discussion about including the opposition party's veto power."

Additionally, Cho stated, "It was discussed that the plenary session could be held on the 14th or 16th of next week, and the reintroduced Special Investigation Act will be submitted and processed then."
