The Future Automotive Center of the RISE Project Group at Gyeongnam National University is operating the "Future Automotive Convergence Parts Design Certification Course" as a 2024 winter vacation extracurricular program until February 4.
This education program tailored for future automotive talent development is conducted based on a survey of local companies' demands and offers certification courses in four fields: ▲Mechanical Design Industrial Engineer ▲Computer-Aided Manufacturing Industrial Engineer ▲General Mechanical Engineer ▲Energy Management Engineer.
The participants are students from departments participating in the RISE pilot project and student researchers involved in public project tasks. They receive various information and education necessary for obtaining certifications through over 40 hours of training per course.
Lee Jun-kyung, director of the Future Automotive Center, stated, "To cultivate practical talents desired by local future automotive companies, we are operating corporate technology development participation and various immersive extracurricular programs," adding, "We plan to actively reflect the needs of local companies and students and expand the future automotive education programs of the RISE project this year."
