Lotte Water Park Opens New Year-Round Attraction 'Magic Hook'

Lotte Water Park, located in Jangyu, Gimhae, will open a new ride called ‘Magic Hook’ on the 11th.

The newly introduced ‘Magic Hook’ is an outdoor attraction designed to be enjoyed not only in summer but throughout all four seasons, offering visitors to the water park a new adventure and enjoyment.

Located in the outdoor water park, ‘Magic Hook’ consists of two types of slopes: a general slope and a children’s slope.

The general slope is a 6-lane slide (allowing 6 people to start simultaneously) that runs from a majestic height of 15 meters through a 105-meter wave-shaped track. With various curves and inclines, it provides not only fun but also a thrilling experience with high speed.

The children’s slope is a 5-lane straight slide running 85 meters from a height of 11 meters. Designed for children’s safety, the straight section allows stable riding so kids can enjoy sledding safely while feeling the thrill.

‘Magic Hook’ is designed to be safely enjoyed all year round. The flooring material is certified for safety and durability, allowing sliding while preventing slipping, so children can enjoy the slopes with peace of mind. In summer, water is sprayed on the slopes to enhance speed, and the general slope’s landing area will be converted into a pool to operate in a water tubing style.

Additionally, to enhance customer convenience, a tube conveyor that automatically lifts tubes and lane guides to prevent collisions between guests have been installed, allowing families to enjoy safely together.

All-day tickets for ‘Magic Hook’ are sold at 15,000 KRW for adults and 13,000 KRW for children, and customers who purchase an all-day water park ticket can use it for 7,000 KRW. Especially, until the 31st, to celebrate the opening, the package ‘All-in-Winter Park’ including water park & Magic Hook admission and life jacket rental is offered at a 50% discount for 35,000 KRW (adult price).

A Lotte Water Park official said, “Magic Hook is a ride that can be enjoyed all year round and is expected to be very popular among family visitors,” adding, “We plan to continue providing new experiences and enjoyment to guests through various rides and programs.”
