On the 8th, AI automated investment company Quantec and Eugene Investment & Securities announced that they have signed a contract to build a subscription-based investment service private banker (PB) platform for securities firms.
The 'Quantec X Eugene Investment & Securities PB Platform' is a hybrid asset management service that combines Eugene Investment & Securities' PB customer management expertise with Quantec's robo-advisor AI technology, Q-Engine.
When Eugene Investment & Securities PB analyzes a customer's investment propensity and assets and recommends a discretionary contract using the PB platform, Quantec operates by constructing a customized portfolio for the customer through the platform and providing financial asset management services.
The system is being developed with the goal of opening in the first quarter of this year. The PB platform will be integrated into Eugene Investment & Securities' mobile trading system (MTS). Eugene Investment & Securities customers can use Quantec's customized financial services through both face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods.
Quantec, which has applied the latest technology using generative AI such as ChatGPT, is continuously developing the system. It is advancing its robo-advisor related services. Previously, it only provided stock diagnosis services for domestic stocks held by customers, but now the service has been expanded to diagnose more than 3,000 US stock items. A function to diagnose individual stocks desired by customers has also been added.
Eugene Investment & Securities recognizes the importance of customer sales activities using generative AI and is investing to strengthen PB asset management capabilities. In 2023, it introduced the 'AI Analyst,' a ChatGPT-based PB customer asset management support platform. With the introduction of the PB platform, it is accelerating the enhancement of comprehensive asset management capabilities using AI.
A Eugene Investment & Securities official said, "After the first phase of the PB platform service opens, we plan to continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by expanding services to pension accounts."
A Quantec official stated, "Based on the partnership with Eugene Investment & Securities, we have confirmed the demand for B2B systems," adding, "We plan to expand partnerships with other securities firms currently under discussion."
