Seo-gu, Daejeon, announced that it secured approximately 16.5 billion KRW in funding last year by being selected for various public contest projects and achieving excellent results in external evaluations.


Through public contest projects, Seo-gu was selected for 44 projects, securing a total of 16.06 billion KRW, including 7.9 billion KRW for the 2025 Traditional Market and Shopping District Parking Environment Improvement Project, 4 billion KRW for the Bandabi Sports Center construction, 790 million KRW for the 2025 Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project, and 300 million KRW for the Smart Village Distribution and Expansion Project.


In addition, Seo-gu achieved results in 35 external evaluations, securing 460 million KRW in incentives, including being awarded the highest (SA) grade for two consecutive years in the 2024 National Basic Local Government Head Pledge Implementation and Information Disclosure Evaluation, being recognized as an excellent institution for 10 consecutive years in the Regional Welfare Project Evaluation, and winning the Prime Minister's Award in the Public Data Provision and Operation Status Evaluation as well as being recognized as an excellent institution for three consecutive years.
