Gyeonggi Province will again provide up to 300,000 KRW in real estate brokerage fees support for low-income residents (National Basic Livelihood Security recipients) this year.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that since January 2020, it has been supporting National Basic Livelihood Security recipients in the province by reimbursing brokerage fees up to 300,000 KRW for housing sales and rental contracts priced at 200 million KRW or less, and that this program will continue this year.
Applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Province website or the ‘Gyeonggi Real Estate Portal (gris.gg.go.kr)’. Required documents include ▲Consent form for collection, use, and provision of personal information to third parties ▲Certificate of National Basic Livelihood Security recipient ▲Resident registration copy ▲Copy of sales (lease) contract ▲Copy of brokerage fee receipt ▲Copy of bankbook, etc.
Gyeonggi Province collects application documents around the 20th of each month, reviews eligibility, and transfers the support funds via bank transfer at the end or beginning of each month.
Lee Gye-sam, Director of the Urban Housing Office of Gyeonggi Province, said, "We hope that the Gyeonggi real estate brokerage fee support project will reduce the brokerage fee burden for National Basic Livelihood Security recipients and provide practical assistance." He added, "The brokerage fee support project will continue in 2025, so those who have not yet applied are strongly encouraged to apply and enjoy the benefits."
