Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that the Agricultural Technology Center is recruiting trainees for agricultural education in 2025 to foster innovative talent in agriculture.
Hampyeong Agricultural College is recruiting for two courses: a Hanwoo class to train Hanwoo cattle breeding experts, and a Strawberry Smart Farm class for education on smart farm theory and cultivation techniques. Each course will accept 40 trainees, for a total of 80, and the application period runs until the 31st.
The Basic Agricultural Technology Education for New Farmers is aimed at return-to-farm residents and new farmers, providing basic agricultural education and customized training by crop, with around 50 trainees to be recruited until February 7. The Field Practice Education for Return-to-Farm Trainees and Leading Farmers as Mentor-Mentee pairs is recruiting six trainees until the 31st.
Moon Jeongmo, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We will actively develop field-oriented agricultural education programs that can be immediately applied, along with smart agriculture education for the transition to future innovative agriculture," and added, "We will do our best to foster local agricultural talent for the sustainable development of Hampyeong agriculture." He called for much interest and participation from the residents.
