Until now, the city has conducted support projects in the culture and arts sector as subsidy projects without a public recruitment process. However, starting this year, in line with the government's sound fiscal management policy and the trend of many local governments converting subsidy projects into public recruitment projects, the small-scale culture and arts sector has been switched to public recruitment.

The fields open for public recruitment in this year's support project are ▲Literature ▲Visual Arts (painting, calligraphy, printmaking, photography, etc.) ▲Performing Arts (theater, dance, music, etc.) ▲Traditional Arts (instrumental music, yeonhui, etc.) ▲Culture and Arts Promotion Support (literature publication, competition participation, etc.), totaling five fields, with a total project budget of 130 million KRW.

Eligibility for application requires being a non-profit cultural and arts organization or corporation located in Changwon for at least one year as of the announcement date, with the purpose of promoting culture and arts.

Support conditions allow only one project application and support per organization or corporation. Subsidies ranging from 1 million to less than 5 million KRW will be provided for part of the project expenses directly related to the event, and at least 10% of the total project cost must be self-funded.

The project announcement will be held for 17 days from January 6 to January 22, and applications will be accepted for 15 days from January 8 to January 22. Applications can only be submitted through the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem e); email, in-person, and postal submissions are not accepted.
