The next-generation Network Detection and Response (NDR) solution "PacketCyber" from cybersecurity company SecuVista has been selected as a threat hunting solution for the Indonesian financial sector.
On January 6, SecuVista announced that, in partnership with its overseas security solution distributor InterSecuTech, it has successfully supplied PacketCyber to banks in Indonesia.
This marks SecuVista's first full-scale entry into the Southeast Asian market and is expected to serve as a bridgehead for expanding into the global market.
InterSecuTech is an information and network security company headquartered in Malaysia, with a track record that includes national security incident response centers, SK Nexilis, and POSCO projects.
PacketCyber received high marks for its ability to quickly and accurately detect and respond to cyber threats in environments that handle sensitive data, such as the financial and defense sectors.
With this entry as a starting point, the company plans to expand its business into the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific (APAC) security market.
Jeon Deokjo, CEO of SecuVista, stated, "Going forward, we will provide a secure environment for more companies through differentiated technology and market expansion, and we will actively pursue overseas markets by continuously expanding our global partnerships."
