The new public officials appointed as of January 2, 2025, include 34 in administration, 14 in social welfare, 4 in industry, 4 in agriculture, 1 in green space, 9 in facilities, and 2 in disaster safety, totaling 68 across 7 job categories.


The new public officials received their appointment certificates and read the oath, pledging to prioritize the rights and public interests of citizens as servants to the community and to become honest public officials who communicate with citizens.


To cultivate the necessary skills and qualities as public officials, the new appointees completed a three-week basic training course. After the appointment ceremony, they will be assigned to affiliated institutions, business offices, district offices, and administrative offices in towns, townships, and neighborhoods to actively carry out public administration aimed at regional development and improving citizens' welfare.


Changwon Special City plans to fill vacancies caused by leaves of absence through the appointment of new public officials to stably meet the administrative demands of its citizens.


Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, “As public officials of Changwon Special City, I hope you take the lead in frontline administration with a sense of responsibility and calling, actively and proactively from the perspective and level of the citizens.” He added, “Always be vigilant against corruption, strictly adhere to laws and principles, and carry out your duties fairly, honestly, and confidently.”
