Ma Da-som, who won three times on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour this year, has stepped up to help children with cancer.

She recently donated 10 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support pediatric cancer patients. Last year, she donated funds to five child welfare facilities, and this winter, as a member of the Samchully golf team, she provided sponsorship to a child care facility located in Anyang City. She said, "I wanted to give back even a little for the love and support many fans have shown this season." She added, "I have always been very interested in the treatment and support of pediatric cancer patients. I hope they never give up on their dreams and hopes and regain their health."


Seoul Asan Medical Center presented Ma Da-som with a plaque of appreciation. Choi Jae-won, Director of External Cooperation, said, "We deeply appreciate Ma Da-som’s warm heart and good deeds. The donation will be used effectively to help pediatric cancer patients from financially disadvantaged families."
