On the 29th, Lee said through social media (SNS), "A tragedy has occurred with multiple casualties due to an aircraft crash at Muan Airport," adding, "Every second counts in this urgent crisis. Authorities must mobilize all administrative power and available resources to swiftly manage the accident with full effort." He also requested, "Please pay special attention to the safety of the rescue workers."


Lee stated, "The National Assembly and the Democratic Party will also provide all possible support to manage the accident."
