Yeoju City Conducts Safety and Health Inspections to Prepare for Winter Cold Waves

Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 27th that it conducted safety and health inspections at 12 workplaces in the city’s eup, myeon, and dong areas from the 16th to the 26th to prevent safety accidents caused by the winter cold wave.

This inspection was carried out to prevent winter safety accidents in advance and to ensure a safe working environment for workers. The main inspection items included verifying whether winter safety and health management education was conducted at the workplaces, and checking the installation and compliance with management standards of rest facilities.


The inspection involved safety managers and health managers from the Major Accident Prevention Team of Yeoju City’s Citizen Safety Division, who conducted professional and detailed inspections. Based on the inspection results, any necessary improvements will be promptly addressed, and long-term management measures will be developed and implemented.


A Yeoju City official stated, “This inspection is an important measure to protect workers’ safety from the winter cold wave and to strengthen safety management at workplaces,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to maintain a safe working environment in Yeoju City.”
