The existing student union building, the With Center, was built in 1981 as a three-story structure, and after 43 years, there was a need to secure more space for student welfare.
The new student union building will begin construction next year and is scheduled to be completed in 2027. The building size will be significantly expanded from three to ten floors, and student welfare facilities that were scattered across the campus, including the student council room, club rooms, student cafeteria, and health clinic, will be housed here.
President Bae Sang-hoon said, “We plan to build a bigger and wider student union building this time to support students in fully realizing their dreams during their youth on campus,” adding, “We will continue to expand various educational, research, and welfare facilities so that students can grow into future talents in advanced industrial fields.”
