Imsil-gun was recently selected as an excellent institution in the Resource Management category at the "2024 Rural Guidance Project Comprehensive Evaluation" hosted by the Jeonbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services.
According to the county on the 23rd, this evaluation is conducted annually for the 14 city and county Agricultural Technology Centers in the province. Performance in three categories?Rural Support, Resource Management, and Technology Dissemination?is scored across nine indicators, and outstanding institutions are selected and awarded through a fair review by internal and external expert judges.

원본보기 아이콘The county, which secured an incentive of 50 million won in project funds, received high scores in project execution, educational operations, promotional achievements, and cooperation across 16 evaluation items in three resource management business indicators: living resources, traditional foods, and management/distribution.
This year, the Agricultural Technology Center carried out various projects and educational programs in the resource management field, including agricultural work safety, rural experience and healing, the promotion of agricultural food processing, and the succession of traditional food culture, all aimed at improving the quality of life and increasing added value for farmers.
Additionally, the county won the grand prize in the Agricultural Work Safety Disaster Prevention Contest (in the field of agricultural safety practice), and achieved significant results by being finally selected for the 2025 Special Resource Convergence Technology Support Project, securing a project budget of 1 billion won.
County Governor Shim Min said, "I am delighted that the hard work of our staff in carrying out the rural guidance project this year has led to such valuable results," and added, "We will continue to actively support safe agricultural activities and income improvement for our farmers."
