Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Re-certified as a 'Family-Friendly Organization'... Certification Maintained Until 2027

Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 23rd that it was selected as a family-friendly re-certified institution at the ‘2024 Family-Friendly Certification and Government Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and received a certificate.

The Family-Friendly Certification System is a program that certifies companies and public institutions that exemplary operate family-friendly systems such as childbirth, childcare and education support systems, flexible working hours, and support for employees and their dependents.

The Minting Corporation first received family-friendly certification in 2013. Since then, it has passed the re-certification examinations consecutively in 2016, 2018, 2021, and this year. The extended certification validity period after this year’s re-certification is until 2027.

Previously, the Minting Corporation has operated welfare systems to support childbirth and childcare, including running an on-site daycare center, reduced working hours during pregnancy and childcare periods, flexible working hours and automatic parental leave systems, spouse childbirth leave, and family care leave and leave systems.

In addition, through family-friendly welfare systems such as financial loans, dormitory operation for housing stability support, expert counseling programs, employee self-development support, and family invitation events, the corporation helps employees balance work and family life.

Sung Chang-hoon, President of the Minting Corporation, said, “For work-family balance, it is most important to establish a corporate culture where employees can use family-friendly systems without burden,” and added, “The Minting Corporation will continue to discover and expand new family-friendly systems to help employees enjoy a balanced life.”
