This recovery operation was carried out based on the recognition that swift support is especially necessary due to the significant damage to flower cultivation farms during the winter season.
Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju said, "I am grateful to the Yeoju City Hall officials who voluntarily stepped forward to help farms struggling to recover their daily lives and livelihoods from the heavy snow damage," adding, "We will continue to support citizens in the community who face difficulties to recover their daily lives as soon as possible and will always stand together to overcome hardships."
This volunteer activity served as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Yeoju City and local residents and to foster a warm sense of community working together to overcome difficulties. Yeoju City stated that it plans to continue seeking various support measures to assist farms and residents affected by disasters.
