Mediagen Signs Technology Cooperation MOU with AI Engine Developer DeepModal

MediaZen, an AI company specializing in large language model (LLM)-based artificial intelligence, announced on the 19th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for technical cooperation with AI engine developer DeepModal.

The two companies plan to jointly develop core LLM technologies and collaborate across the entire spectrum of AI technologies. They will also pursue joint commercialization in various fields including AI contact centers (AICC), education, medical healthcare, and legal sectors, covering AI technologies such as speech recognition, speech synthesis, and natural language processing.


Additionally, they plan to strengthen promotion and marketing of their AI technological capabilities and joint business achievements, and to build data necessary for AI modeling together. They also intend to jointly operate educational programs, internships, and workshops to nurture outstanding AI talent.


DeepModal is a startup founded by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) in Korea, focusing on developing LLMs in the fields of fair trade and medical healthcare. Dr. Hoon Jung, the CEO of DeepModal, has worked at ETRI for over 20 years, leading numerous AI engine developments and commercializations.


A MediaZen representative stated, “Through this cooperation, we will discover new business opportunities based on AI technology together with DeepModal and lead innovation in AI technology. We will strengthen market competitiveness by applying AI solutions across various industrial sectors.”
