Chonnam National University Hospital Holds Second Half Management Workshop

Chonnam National University Hospital (Director Jeong Shin) announced on the 19th that it recently held its 2024 second-half management workshop.


This workshop, organized by the Education and Training Office (Director Professor Jeong Sukin), was attended by Director Jeong Shin, directors of the main and branch hospitals, key executives, heads of clinical departments, and over 250 managers at the team leader level or above. The workshop was divided into two sessions. In the first session, major issues and joint agendas of the main and branch hospitals were presented.


Joo Seongpil, Director of Planning and Coordination, gave a presentation on "Current Status and Future Development Directions of Major Projects at Chonnam National University Hospital." This was followed by presentations on ▲ Establishment of a Smart Hospital System through IT Organization Restructuring (Lee Donghun, Deputy Director of IT at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital) ▲ Status of the New Hospital Construction Project (Joo Jaegyun, Head of the New Hospital Construction Promotion Headquarters) ▲ Current Issues in the Medical Quality Management Office (Jeong Inseok, Director of the Medical Quality Management Office) ▲ Progress Report on the Integrated Logistics Center Construction TFT (Jeong Ilwoong, Secretary of the Integrated Logistics Center Construction TFT).


The second session included the presentation of key agendas, a panel discussion, and a Q&A session. After the "HR System Improvement TFT Activity Report" by Kim Gapseong, Head of the New Hospital Construction Promotion Office, Kim Youngmin, Director of Administration, served as moderator and listened to various opinions from panelists representing different hospital job categories.


Director Jeong Shin said, "There are few opportunities for managers from all departments to gather and discuss hospital issues, so it was great to be able to share opinions through this event. We will continue to make efforts to provide opportunities to directly hear voices from the field and communicate with each other."
