Pukyong National University Alumni Association Donates 1.2 Billion Won Scholarship Fund to Alma Mater

Supporting Alma Mater's Development on 8th President's Inauguration... Delivered at Inauguration Ceremony

The National Pukyong National University Alumni Association generously donated 1.2 billion KRW in scholarship funds to their alma mater in celebration of the inauguration of the new president.

On December 18, Seo Young-ok, president of the Alumni Association, presented the scholarship funds to President Bae Sang-hoon at the inauguration ceremony of the 8th president of Pukyong National University held in the university headquarters' main conference room, requesting that the funds be used for the benefit of the university's junior students.

This scholarship fund is managed by the Pukyong National University Alumni Association Scholarship Foundation, which has been operated with donations from alumni to date.

In accordance with the Alumni Association's intentions, Pukyong National University plans to use this scholarship fund for various scholarship programs aimed at nurturing outstanding future talents who will excel globally.

Seo Young-ok, president of the Alumni Association, stated, “We support Pukyong National University to thrive as a proud alma mater of its alumni and to achieve greater success worldwide. The Alumni Association will continue to support the development of our alma mater.”

President Bae Sang-hoon said, “With the strong support of our alumni, we will strive to produce more proud graduates and focus on cultivating innovative talents who will advance beyond the region to the world and the future.”
