BNK Busan Bank Conducts Financial Education for Parents and Children Together

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) conducted a “Wise Financial Education with Children” session on the 18th at the video seminar room on the 2nd floor of the National Assembly Busan Library.

This education program, prepared in collaboration with the National Assembly Busan Library, was attended by about 60 upper-grade elementary school students and their parents. It covered practical content reflecting the latest financial trends, including ▲comparison of savings and investments ▲simulated investment experience ▲a joint financial Golden Bell quiz.

Through a bank experience in the metaverse world and the “Financial Golden Bell” in which parents and children participated together, the program enhanced financial understanding and increased satisfaction with the education.

Kim Sang-hoon, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, said, “I hope this was a valuable opportunity to recognize the importance of financial education,” and added, “We will do our best to provide high-quality financial education so that young people can grow into rational financial consumers.”

Busan Bank operates various financial education programs such as ▲One Company One School financial education ▲Financial History Museum operation ▲Dream Sharing career experience in cooperation with Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.

Based on these efforts, the bank has won the “Education Mecenat Top” award in the field of educational donation projects for 16 consecutive years and has been selected as a “Certified Institution for Educational Donation Career Experience” by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
