The ‘SHAEFY’ team developed an infusion line called ‘graviTy line’ that can prevent safety accidents for hospitalized patients and improve the work efficiency of nurses, receiving high evaluations in this project.
This product focuses on reducing fall accidents caused by infusion lines and the risks of infection and thrombosis due to blood backflow. By adjusting the length of the infusion line using a dial, it prevents safety accidents caused by long lines, blood backflow due to pressure differences, and infusion blockage caused by line kinking. It also includes a device that prevents blood backflow when infusion is stopped.
Professor Park Hye-jin (Department of Nursing), who supervised the startup preparation team, said, “The students developed a safe and convenient medical device product that is essential for medical institutions and patients,” adding, “We will continue to actively support students so that they can freely realize creative ideas that contribute to the local community.”
