SelectStar, which provides selection, analysis, and management services in AI training data planning, won the Venture Business Association President's Award at the '2024 Asia AI Awards' held on the 19th.
SelectStar offers solutions focused on data, the core element of AI. It creates an optimal data construction environment and builds high-quality data. By providing licensed large-scale data, it supports the adoption of customized AI solutions for clients. SelectStar has over 287 clients including Samsung, Naver, and SK Telecom, and has experience building more than 200 million datasets for AI development and performance improvement.
It also operates 'OPEN DATASETS,' the first private AI dataset support project in Korea. This project supports the production of datasets worth up to 70 million KRW for AI-related SMEs, startups, and research labs. The datasets built through this project are partially or fully released for free to promote the development of the domestic AI sector. SelectStar also participated in developing 'KorNAT,' a Korean language customized large language model (LLM) reliability evaluation benchmark, in collaboration with SK Telecom, LG, Naver, and KT.
SelectStar is also committed to AI reliability evaluation and standard setting. As the organizer of the 'Generative AI Red Team Challenge,' it verified the reliability and safety of AI models involving leading domestic and international AI companies.
To ensure the performance and safety of LLM-based services, it has established a full-cycle quality management system. Based on detailed quality management manuals and step-by-step frameworks, it conducts project management and reliability verification processes.
