POSCO Group Donates 10 Billion Won in Year-End Neighborly Aid Fund

Cumulative Donations Surpass 200 Billion Won

On the 18th, POSCO Group donated 10 billion KRW to the Community Chest of Korea as year-end aid for neighbors.

Since 1999, POSCO Group has been donating aid funds to the Community Chest of Korea every year. The cumulative amount donated to date is 202 billion KRW, and POSCO Group was inducted into the Community Chest of Korea's 'Hope Sharing Campaign 200 Billion KRW Club' on this day.

A POSCO Group official stated, "Despite the difficult business environment this year due to sluggish market conditions, we contributed the same amount of funds as last year to practice neighborly love at the end of the year."

The funds delivered to the Community Chest of Korea will be widely used to support future generations, socially vulnerable groups, and community contribution projects reflecting the characteristics of the business companies' industries.

Meanwhile, since the 25th of last month, POSCO Group has been conducting an online sharing practice program called '1% My Little Charity (Marichae),' where group executives and employees directly select the donation destinations they wish to support for about a month. Through Marichae, POSCO Group plans to deliver donations to 138 social welfare institutions and non-profit organizations.
