Efforts to Expand Investment and Revise Security System Bear Fruit
Golfzon announced on the 17th that it has obtained the Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency, a legally accredited institution.
The ISMS-P certification is the highest level of information security certification in Korea, jointly overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. To obtain the certification, organizations must meet a total of 101 certification criteria, including the establishment and operation of an information security management system, protection measures requirements, and personal information processing stage requirements.
This year, Golfzon recruited an external security expert as the person responsible for personal information protection. The company stated, "Following the information security management system certification in 2013, obtaining the ISMS-P certification this time has allowed us to conduct an in-depth analysis and improvement of our personal information protection. By establishing an advanced security system, we are now able to provide safer services to our customers."
