Gwangju Transportation Corporation obtained the ‘Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution’ certification from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) on the 12th.

The ‘Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution Certification’ is a system where a professional certification body evaluates and awards public institutions and companies that exemplarily operate fair recruitment procedures focused on job competency by excluding biased factors in hiring.

In this evaluation, the corporation was recognized for leading social responsibility fulfillment through the operation of fair recruitment procedures. In particular, it received high marks for its strong efforts to establish a discrimination-free and objective recruitment culture, including ▲the institution head’s commitment to fair recruitment ▲the introduction and operation of the Recruitment Verification Committee ▲high satisfaction among new hires and low turnover rates.

President Jo Ik-moon stated, “We operate transparent recruitment procedures based on principles to select outstanding talent,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to ensure that a fair recruitment culture takes root in our society as a model public enterprise representing the local community.”
