Art Museum Ryeo, an art museum in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do (Mayor Lee Chung-woo), announced on the 12th that it will hold the second half of 2024 special exhibition "Lost Four Seasons: 2050." This exhibition is inspired by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)'s 2050 decarbonization goal, assuming 2050 as the present and reflecting on the environment and nature of 2024 as the past. It visually depicts the reality faced in the era of climate crisis by examining the transformed and restructured nature through the flow of industrialization and capitalism from various perspectives.

"Forgotten Landscapes" looks back on landscapes eroded by the logic of development and growth through records of nature set in 2024. The disappearing ecological memories and devastated environment prompt reflection on human reckless actions. On the other hand, "Plausible Landscapes" reconstructs 2050 as the present, showing a future filled with artificial elements. The strange and unfamiliar landscapes composed of artificial materials such as plastic blur the boundary between reality and imagination, intuitively revealing the upcoming environmental crisis.
