Dongducheon City Hall's Jeong Un-yeong, Policy Research Excellence Award for 2 Consecutive Years

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 12th that Jung Woon-young, a public official, won the Encouragement Award (Director of the Local Autonomy Human Resources Development Institute Award) at the 20th Local Government Officials Policy Research Presentation Contest held last month for his policy research titled "Assessment of Unassessed National and Public Land Official Land Prices Using Real Estate Statistical Data and V-WORLD."

This research aims to ensure the appropriateness and balance of prices by utilizing real estate statistical data and V-WORLD for unassessed national and public land, as well as to focus on effective management and utilization plans for such unassessed land in the future.

The study was conducted to provide price appropriateness and predictability for public land (such as roads), where consistent price assessment had been difficult, thereby promoting convenience for citizens using these lands and building administrative reliability.

Additionally, Jung Woon-young, who obtained his Certified Cadastral Engineer license in 2018, has won awards for two consecutive years, including the 19th contest in 2023 (on methods for locating positions in rivers and streams) and this recent contest, based on his expertise in related work.

Jung Woon-young’s research report is scheduled to be included in the excellent reports of the Local Autonomy Human Resources Development Institute and will be shared nationwide with local governments to serve as foundational data for creating trustworthy administration.
