Police Special Investigation Unit Summons Yeongdeungpo Police Chief Over 'Emergency Martial Law Parliament Blockade'

The police have summoned Kang Sang-moon, the chief of the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station, for questioning regarding the blockade of the National Assembly during the 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law' incident.

On the 12th, the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency announced that they had summoned Chief Kang as a witness.

Chief Kang is suspected of having followed orders from superiors to dispatch forces to the scene, block the National Assembly located in Yeongdeungpo, and control the entry and exit of martial law troops on the day of the martial law.
