The Military Mutual Aid Association announced on the 12th that Chairman Jeong Jae-gwan and other executives and staff participated in a “Sharing Love Briquettes” volunteer activity held in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul.
During this volunteer activity, 1,400 briquettes were directly delivered to households vulnerable to energy poverty, and briquette costs worth 11,120 briquettes (approximately 10 million KRW) and 80 pieces of clothing (4.8 million KRW) were donated to the “Briquette Bank Bapsang Community.” The Military Mutual Aid Association has been continuing the Sharing Love Briquettes volunteer service since 2014.
Chairman Jeong Jae-gwan said, “I hope this briquette sharing becomes a small force that warms the cold winter,” and added, “The Military Mutual Aid Association will continue to practice sharing and consideration and establish itself as a company that fulfills its social responsibilities.”
The Military Mutual Aid Association is carrying out various community win-win activities, including the “Sharing Love Meal Service” and donation projects for local welfare centers for the disabled, as well as visiting national veterans and their families, and cleaning activities at the National Cemetery. In addition, it is actively implementing customized welfare programs such as the Hope Plus Loan for junior officers facing financial difficulties and support for personal rehabilitation costs.
