Exchange selects '2024 Excellent Disclosure Companies for Corporate Governance Reports'

The Korea Exchange announced on the 12th that it has selected and awarded outstanding companies in corporate governance report disclosure for this year.

The Korea Exchange selected a total of five companies as outstanding corporate governance report disclosers this year: KT&G, Hyundai Mobis, Moorim P&P, Lotte Chemical, and NHN.

Since 2019, the Exchange has been selecting listed companies that faithfully and transparently disclose their governance status according to the 'Corporate Governance Report Guidelines' and awarding them as outstanding corporate governance report disclosers.

The awarded companies are evaluated to have contributed to investor protection and the establishment of a sound disclosure culture in the capital market through exemplary governance disclosures.

A Korea Exchange official stated, "In January next year, we plan to announce the key inspection points for the 2025 corporate governance reports in advance to promote qualitative improvement of the reports, and to provide education including guidance on preparatory matters to the target companies in preparation for the mandatory disclosure expansion to all KOSPI-listed companies in 2026."
