Choi Seoyeon, Nursing Student at Gyeongnam Jeongbodae, Receives Busan Mayor's Commendation

Gyeongnam Jeonbo University announced on the 12th that Choi Seoyeon, a second-year student in the university's Department of Nursing, recently received a commendation from the Mayor of Busan at the '2024 Community-Linked Youth Environmental Experience Classroom Integrated Seminar' hosted by the Busan Saemaeul Association.


This seminar was held by the Busan University Saemaeul Club Federation in cooperation with the local community to promote carbon neutrality and environmental protection activities.


Choi Seoyeon was recognized and awarded for her role in raising environmental awareness among local youth through activities such as carbon neutrality and making eco-friendly products at the youth environmental experience classroom.


Lee Jonghan, faculty advisor of the Gyeongnam Jeonbo University Saemaeul Club, said, “Choi Seoyeon has always contributed to community development with her exceptional volunteer spirit and has been a role model for other students through sharing and consideration. We will continue to guide students to empathize and communicate with the local community.”
