Gyeonggi-do Supports Burn Patients with 'Fit Firefighter Calendar Event Donations'

Gyeonggi Province donated 12.8 million won in sponsorship funds from the Fit Firefighter Calendar event to social welfare facilities.

On the 11th, Gyeonggi Province held the '2025 Gyeonggi Province Fit Firefighter Calendar Event Sponsorship Fund Delivery Ceremony' at the Bestian Foundation and announced on the 12th that it had delivered 12.8 million won in sponsorship funds to the Bestian Foundation Social Welfare Business Headquarters.

The Bestian Foundation, established in 2011, is a specialized foundation supporting burn patients, fulfilling social responsibility through comprehensive care including burn prevention projects, burn treatment support, mental recovery, and daily life assistance.

The sponsorship funds delivered to the Bestian Foundation will be used for treatment costs and living support for low-income burn patients residing in Gyeonggi Province.

Earlier, from October to November, Gyeonggi Province raised sponsorship funds to support low-income burn patients through the Fit Firefighter Calendar giveaway event.

Kim Ja-in, a national team athlete in sport climbing who attended representing a total of 2,350 sponsors, said, "It was meaningful just to participate after seeing the sponsorship event news on Gyeonggi Province's SNS, and I am even happier to deliver the sponsorship funds as the first sponsor. I will gladly participate if there are ways I can contribute to Gyeonggi Province as a resident in the future."

Lee Won-il, Public Relations Planning Officer of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Many disasters and accidents occurred in Gyeonggi Province this year. Among them, I am pleased to show the efforts of Gyeonggi Province to protect the lives and safety of its residents."
