Kim Yong-hyun Attempts Suicide in Detention Center Bathroom... Ministry of Justice Says "No Health Issues"

It has been revealed that Kim Yong-hyun, former Minister of National Defense and the main instigator of the ‘12·3 Emergency Martial Law Incident,’ attempted an extreme act in the detention center bathroom.

On the 11th, Shin Yong-hae, Director of the Correction Headquarters at the Ministry of Justice, stated during the plenary session of the National Assembly’s Legislation and Judiciary Committee that, in response to related questions, “Yesterday (at around 11:52 PM), a control room officer discovered an attempted suicide in the bathroom of the waiting area before the issuance of the warrant.”

He added, “We immediately responded and opened the door, and the individual gave up and came out,” and “Currently, he has been placed in a protective room, and we have been informed that there are no health abnormalities.”
