Kim Jong-ho Elected as the 14th President of the Korea Association of Certified Realtors

The Korea Association of Certified Realtors announced on the 11th that candidate Kim Jong-ho was elected as the 14th president.

According to the association, Kim received 13,294 votes out of a total of 34,643 votes cast in the direct election by members held the previous day.


Kim has over 20 years of experience, having opened a certified realtor office in 2001. He has served as the head of the Mapo-gu branch of the Seoul Northern District, a delegate of the 10th term, the 11th and 12th branch president, and the 13th president of the Seoul Northern Association.


In this election, Kim pledged key promises including resolving excessive fines issues, promoting the transition to a fixed-rate brokerage fee system, and securing exclusive rights contracts for licensed realtors.


Upon his election, Kim said, "I will create the 14th association that is newly born through change and reform." His term will begin on January 15 next year and last for three years. The association includes about 110,000 licensed realtors.
