On the 6th, Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, said, "I hope President Yoon Seok-yeol announces his resignation plan before tomorrow's vote. If not, I must express my support for the impeachment motion."
On the same day, Ahn told reporters at the National Assembly, "It is already impossible for President Yoon to continue performing his presidential duties."
He added, "I demanded that the president disclose a timeline for when he will step down, the formation of a national unity cabinet, and other plans so that the country can be run in an orderly manner. However, President Yoon has yet to offer any apology or statement, and tomorrow we face the impeachment vote," he said.
When asked about the question, "Senior lawmakers do not agree with Representative Han Dong-hoon's stance supporting impeachment," Ahn said, "I have heard various things just now, but the information that Representative Han has and the information that senior lawmakers have are somewhat different," adding, "That issue will also be revealed soon."

Cho told reporters at the National Assembly, "The act of declaring martial law itself was unconstitutional and illegal," emphasizing, "The president's suspension from office must happen quickly."
Cho also said, "The choice of whether politicians stand on the side of the people through the president's suspension or become collaborators of the forces that declared martial law is a matter for politicians to decide," appealing, "I sincerely hope that all People Power Party politicians become politicians who stand on the side of the people."
