President Yoon and Representative Han Dong-hoon Meeting... Yoon Proposes to Han

President Yoon Suk-yeol and Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, are reported to have a private meeting on the afternoon of the 6th.

According to political circles, Han will meet with President Yoon at his request on that day.

They are expected to discuss the political situation ahead of the impeachment vote. Earlier, Han expressed a position at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, breaking the party line of rejecting President Yoon's impeachment and stating that his duties should be suspended promptly.

The meeting is likely to take place at the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul. Park Ji-won, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, posted on Facebook, "I received a report that Han, along with People Power Party lawmaker Joo Jin-woo, went to the Hannam-dong residence."

Some speculate that President Yoon may attend the People Power Party lawmakers' meeting after the meeting with Han.
