원본보기 아이콘On the 4th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are forecasted to experience mostly cloudy skies with subzero temperatures continuing during the morning commute hours.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 3rd, Gwangju and Jeonnam mostly had clear weather that day, but relatively strong winds began blowing from the afternoon, bringing chilly conditions.
On the 4th, in the northwestern region of Jeonnam, temperatures will drop, and there may be light rain droplets less than 0.1mm or snow less than 0.1cm falling until the morning in some areas.
The morning low temperatures are expected to be Hwasun -2°C, Damyang -1°C, Gwangju, Naju, Yeongam, Haenam 0°C, Gwangyang, Muan, Suncheon, Yeonggwang 1°C, Wando 2°C, Mokpo, Yeosu 3°C. The daytime highs will range from 11°C in Gwangyang and Wando, 10°C in Suncheon, Yeosu, and Haenam, 9°C in Naju, Mokpo, Muan, Yeongam, and Hwasun, to 8°C in Gwangju, Damyang, and Yeonggwang.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the southern sea and the front seas of the West Sea. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
A representative from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration stated, “In areas with low temperatures, rain or snow may freeze, causing icy patches on roads, so please pay special attention to traffic safety.”
