A man in his 40s accused of killing a woman at an officetel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, has been indicted in custody.
The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 3rd that Kim was indicted in custody.
Kim is accused of stabbing a woman in her 30s to death at an officetel near Hwagok Station in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 8th.
At the time, the fire department, responding to a report of a "burning smell," found the deceased woman at the scene and requested police cooperation. A knife and charcoal briquettes were found at the scene.
The police urgently arrested Kim on suspicion of murder and applied for an arrest warrant on the 9th of last month. Yoon Seok-beom, the duty judge of the Seoul Southern District Court, conducted a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) the next day and issued the arrest warrant, stating there was a risk of flight or evidence destruction.
