Clean Country announced on the 3rd that it has appointed Executive Director Lee Dong-yeol as the new CEO.
This appointment was made with the goal of "enhancing core competencies in Digital Transformation (DX)." Clean Country has been operated under a dual CEO system with Choi Hyun-soo and Kim Min-hwan since 2019. Under the expertise of CEO Choi, a marketer, and CEO Kim, a human resources specialist, the company has built a flexible organizational culture.
The appointee graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Business Administration and earned an MBA from Thunderbird. He began his career in 1989 by joining the accounting team at LG Semiconductor and worked as a finance and accounting expert at LG Display and LG Chem from 1999 to 2021. He joined Clean Country as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2022.
He has created a financial environment for digital transformation through unnecessary cost reduction and efficient resource allocation. He also supported an Agile organizational culture and collaboration structure to establish a foundation for responding to rapidly changing market conditions.
Clean Country appointed Executive Director Park Kyung-hwan as the head of the newly established Future Strategy Office. The strategy focuses on expanding new businesses and securing future growth engines. The Management Office will be fully authorized under Executive Director Park Kyung-ryeol, integrating the CFO organization and Strategic Purchasing Office to focus on systematizing organizational management. Senior Executive Director Choi Young-hoon was appointed as Head of Human Resources Planning Office to drive the transition to a performance-oriented young organization and the establishment of an Agile organizational culture.
