BNK Investment & Securities Hosts '2024 Research Contest' for Local University Students

BNK Investment & Securities (CEO Shin Myung-ho) held the '2024 Research Contest' on the 29th of last month at the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Conference Hall with over 100 local university students.

This competition was conducted as a platform for sharing, where university students from the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) regions, aspiring to become future finance professionals, selected, analyzed, and presented on listed companies expected to grow. The event was jointly hosted by BNK Investment & Securities and the Bu-Ul-Gyeong University Students Securities Investment Club Federation.

After a rigorous document screening by the BNK Investment & Securities Research Center, five reports were selected in the first round. On the day of the finals, through presentation evaluations, a total of five teams were awarded Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Merit Award, and Encouragement Award, with total prize money of 4.7 million KRW.

A BNK Investment & Securities official in charge of the event stated, “We consider it very meaningful to hold a good event together with local talents aspiring to become future finance professionals,” and added, “We will continue to actively support various events that can help local talents.”
