MediaZen announced on the 3rd that it has been selected as a '2024 NIPA Nice Partner' by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) based on its outstanding research achievements.
The NIPA Nice Partner award is given to companies that have created notable success stories or secured growth potential in the industry through research projects or businesses supported by NIPA over the year. This year, 41 companies were selected through a sector-specific selection process out of a total of 2,391 institutions and companies.
In July of this year, MediaZen was selected as a participating company in the AI diffusion project based on inter-ministerial collaboration, led by NIPA as the dedicated agency. The company is responsible for developing and demonstrating technology that integrates AI into the Fair Trade Commission's terms review platform.
This project involves developing a solution that reviews various and complex terms and conditions using MediaZen’s independently developed large language model (LLM), Mirage, and AI technology. Through the project, it aims to prevent duplicate processing in terms review and improve efficiency by introducing automation.
Song Min-gyu, CEO of MediaZen, said, "We have proven our technological capabilities through participation in various public and private research projects," adding, "We believe that being selected as a NIPA Nice Partner is recognition of the results of these R&D efforts."
He continued, "We will continue to focus company-wide resources on research and development to strengthen competitiveness in the fields of voice recognition and AI."
