The Gwangju City Public Health Center announced on the 3rd that it has produced the 2025 Oral Health Calendar as part of its oral health project.
This calendar was created to inform citizens about the importance of oral health and to provide practical methods for preventing oral diseases and promoting health in daily life.
In particular, the calendar features creative and lively drawings by children who won awards in the poster contest themed "The Importance of Oral Health," held to commemorate Oral Health Day on June 9, 2024, attracting attention.
The drawings, which express the importance of oral health from the children's perspective and contain original messages, decorate each monthly page of the calendar, naturally reminding people of healthy oral care habits.
The oral health calendar provides practical oral health information such as ▲proper tooth brushing habits ▲the progression of dental caries ▲dietary habits for dental health ▲the importance of regular dental check-ups, aiming to help prevent oral diseases and foster healthy oral habits.
A city official stated, "This calendar will serve as a good opportunity to encourage practicing oral health in daily life, beyond just being a tool to check dates," adding, "We made efforts to fully reflect the creative and charming characteristics of the children's artwork in the calendar, not just to include health information."
Meanwhile, the 2025 Oral Health Calendar will be distributed to local educational institutions and citizens, and will be used as a continuous platform for promoting and educating about oral health projects.
