Gwangju Buddhist Broadcasting (President Choi Gap-ryeol) announced on the 3rd that it will relocate its headquarters to the Hudson1041 building in the Cheomdan 2 District Knowledge Industry Center, Yeonje-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju.

The new headquarters, the Hudson1041 building, is owned by a subsidiary of Samil Construction, where President Choi Gap-ryeol serves as chairman, and was completed in February last year.

Since President Choi's inauguration in April, Gwangju Buddhist Broadcasting has begun the relocation process, obtained approval from the Korea Communications Commission, and started full-scale construction in September, now nearing completion. The move was originally scheduled to be completed by the 6th, but due to recent bad weather delaying construction at the Mudeungsan transmission station, it has been postponed to the 13th.

Gwangju Buddhist Broadcasting plans to set up offices on the 13th floor of this building and usher in a new era of advanced technology. In particular, it will establish a cutting-edge studio to open the era of "Visible Radio," which not only broadcasts audio but also shows studio video, offering listeners diverse and engaging programs.

President Choi said, "Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Gwangju Buddhist Broadcasting's founding, and with the relocation of our headquarters, we aim to make a fresh leap forward. We will do our best to serve as the wooden fish of our society along with our broadcasting missionary work."
