Earlier, Jeon was reported on suspicion of posting an appeal on the JeonGyoJo website on October 22, encouraging participation in the referendum conducted with the civic group 'Yoon Suk-yeol Resignation Referendum Promotion Headquarters.' On the 1st, the Ministry of Education requested a police investigation, stating that Jeon's actions violated the prohibition on political activities by public officials. According to the National Public Officials Act, public officials must not engage in collective actions related to labor movements or other activities outside their official duties.
