Caught Drunk Driving 4 Times in One Month
A woman in her 30s who, while intoxicated, damaged her own vehicle in the middle of the road and caused a disturbance has been handed over to the prosecution in custody.
The Seoul Gwanak Police Station announced on the 3rd that they had sent Ms. A to the prosecution in custody on the 29th of last month on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
Ms. A is accused of driving under the influence for about 3.4 km at 6:37 p.m. on the 21st of last month. At that time, her blood alcohol concentration was at the level warranting license cancellation. It was confirmed that no drugs were used.
On the same day around 8 a.m., Ms. A kicked the side mirror of her Mercedes-Benz vehicle on a road in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, repeatedly struck the vehicle with her phone, and verbally abused motorcyclists and citizens.
