On the 28th, at the plenary session held in the National Assembly, the arrest motion for Shin Young-dae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was subject to an arrest warrant request on charges of manipulating public opinion in the primary election and accepting bribes, was rejected with 93 votes in favor, 297 votes against, and 5 abstentions out of 300 members present.
